Happy Monday everyone. Zyler AMPS is 99 and never have shot in the green. Should I feed MC or HC prior to shooting?

Feed LC. He might just head up in a bounce from the green last night. Can you monitor this morning?
Don't fill him up. Feed a part of his breakfast at +1 and +2 and get tests then.

Ok perfect, that’s exactly what I just did, fed only 1tbs LC. I can get a few tests this morning. Thank yoi

He's not had much of a good bump at +1. So you can test at +2 but not after?

I can test up to +2.5, didn’t realize the town hall was this morning till I checked my calendar

Not much of a drop from AMPS, but since you have to step out, feed some MC. Do you have anything around 12-14%? If not feed the 16%.

Thank you, I tried doing that and unfortunately he turned his nose to that. I left some 16% and at +4 the feeder will switch to LC so hopefully he doesn’t drop too low, so hard leaving

Ugh, unfortunately my camera shows the feeder spun the opposite way I thought it would so now I’m panicked that he won’t have any food until I get back home. Do I need to head home? So worried he’ll go hypo. I need to be on site at 2pm (+8) so either I go home and come back to work or head home between meetings at +9.

That should give him a good boost. And he didn't drop as hard between AMPS and +2.

+9.75 145 I was worried about him all day, but feeling relieved that he wasn’t too low when I got home cause then I would have felt so guilty. Leaving the house when he’s in the greens is really going to be a challenge for me. I hope one day I’ll feel more comfortable with his numbers

I'm so happy for you. It does get easier to leave them in green, still stressful, but less
