I'll see what I can figure out. Once I know what the problem is I'm usually pretty good about working around it, I've got lots of experience as I had to learn to work around my own limitations. I have both dyslexia and dysgraphia. Dyslexia means I see some words and letters backwards, and dysgraphia means that when reading words from the above or below the line I'm reading will jump into the line I'm reading. And I'm just about blind as a bat without my contact lens
I was labelled mentally slow for a long time when I was child until they finally figured out I couldn't see well, then once my vision was corrected that's when they finally figured out not only does brain work fine as far as intelligence it is actually very close to photographic. It's just the pictures with was taking were skewed. So once I learned how to work around the flaws in how it saw the world, now once I read or learn something I have total recall. It was probably why I got on as well as I did until the issues were found I just relied on my other senses.
Then a few years ago, I was bitten by a spider that crippled the thumb on my right hand and I'm right handed, well I had Autumn and she needed me to care for her, so I figured out a way to tent and give shots with one hand, it's tricky but it's doable and I love crafting so much I wasn't going to let something like a crippled thumb stop me, again I had to figure out a way around the problem. I'm not nearly as quick as I use to be especially in fine needlework but while slower now I can still get it done.
My sister's youngest son is mentally handicapped and I love his out look on life, when someone calls him handicapped he corrects them and says "No I'm handicapable" And he is, he has the mind of a 10 year old but nothing stops him, he lives on his own with a care giver that checks in on him several times a day, he holds a job and goes wherever he pleases just he can't drive so he has a special bicycle. He even recently met a lovely lady with some of the same issues and they have fallen in love and plan to marry next summer.
