i have to look that one up. it's good that you finally know what it is. is there a treatment for it?

I'm so happy for you that you finally have an answer and that it isn't that you are going crazy and something really is medically wrong with you. That has to be such a relief!

I know I was that way when they finally found the fibromyalgia with me. I was too beginning to question my sanity.

I also need to go look it up so I have a better understanding of how you see the world so I can hopefully find a way at least here to help you understand things better. Hmmm wonder if I can find or make video with audio recordings so you could both see and hear what is happening and yet be able to keep everything on the open forum as required by board policy.

With all you are going thorough right now you are doing a wonderful job with Larry!!!

ty for the support. i thot my vision was jst really bad. i stay in dim light uually. HATE the pc really wdnt be on if didnt need to. i do hv the special flux filter for months now to help see it. i was dying b4 wearing sunglases at night on here and still cdnt see pc. i mostly feel around and survive d more by touch for yrs. than my eyes. i thot i was super clumsy and all.
that 1 vid is best at the bottom i think it was mel. words violently shake and move on the page or look like if u srolled really fast but im not scrolling. audio wd be GREAT! i hv TINY netbook speakers so opefully i cd hear it. fibro still casuses all the cog fog of course but at least this is why i cant see i guess. i cant evn see outside anyomre. the world looks like an abstract painting more than details i used to see.
it looks like all they do i s get u pecial lenses which i live in sunglasses anyway so we will see. ironically i was an optician for yrs. this says its a brain problem tho. it wont fix my neuropathy and all the other but id be happy i f my eyes/head felt bttr.
now for the dentist etc. i hope to get caught up someday.
ok gta rest so ican try to catch up larry info.
hugz frm me and lair

I'll see what I can figure out. Once I know what the problem is I'm usually pretty good about working around it, I've got lots of experience as I had to learn to work around my own limitations. I have both dyslexia and dysgraphia. Dyslexia means I see some words and letters backwards, and dysgraphia means that when reading words from the above or below the line I'm reading will jump into the line I'm reading. And I'm just about blind as a bat without my contact lens

I was labelled mentally slow for a long time when I was child until they finally figured out I couldn't see well, then once my vision was corrected that's when they finally figured out not only does brain work fine as far as intelligence it is actually very close to photographic. It's just the pictures with was taking were skewed. So once I learned how to work around the flaws in how it saw the world, now once I read or learn something I have total recall. It was probably why I got on as well as I did until the issues were found I just relied on my other senses.

Then a few years ago, I was bitten by a spider that crippled the thumb on my right hand and I'm right handed, well I had Autumn and she needed me to care for her, so I figured out a way to tent and give shots with one hand, it's tricky but it's doable and I love crafting so much I wasn't going to let something like a crippled thumb stop me, again I had to figure out a way around the problem. I'm not nearly as quick as I use to be especially in fine needlework but while slower now I can still get it done.

My sister's youngest son is mentally handicapped and I love his out look on life, when someone calls him handicapped he corrects them and says "No I'm handicapable" And he is, he has the mind of a 10 year old but nothing stops him, he lives on his own with a care giver that checks in on him several times a day, he holds a job and goes wherever he pleases just he can't drive so he has a special bicycle. He even recently met a lovely lady with some of the same issues and they have fallen in love and plan to marry next summer.
