Jill's still feeling crappy. And I do mean crappy. She has really bad diarrhea and she's covered in it
Vet is giving us metronidazole this morning. That Fancy Feast the other night when her BG was low gave her loose poops and I think the clavamox is making it worse. She's so gassy!! And does not like her butt cleaned!!

And is giving me higher numbers!! Because she's sick?

Unfortunately antibiotics can cause diarrhea. It's better to give a probiotic along with the antibiotic to prevent this. I hope the metronidazole helps clear things up and Jill feels better soon. The higher numbers could be from her not feeling well.

I have probiotics and I will start giving her that too. That’s a pharmacy’s worth of stuff, Jill!

Don't give it at the same time as the antibiotic. I try to give them at least 30 minutes apart.

I’ve been told an hour before or two hours after.
