well we are still riding high on pink floor now if I use the FSL he is in blue (183) :?: :shock: confused_cat go figure on that..... he reads high ( as in pink floor) on A trak so sticking with relion for now do miss my FSL though sigh but man what a diff in numbers big diff between blue floor and pink IMO but he is feeling good with all P's accounted for just want to get down out of these high numbers asap I just cannot understand how 2 meters can read so darn diff :roll: :YMSIGH: :YMSIGH:

well was able to get another keytone test and it was negative so very happy about that anyway ;-)

i think the Freestyle people will send you a control solution for free to check your meter. if you need the number, just holler - i still have my booklet. kinda hard when you don't know which meter to trust. is the relion close to the AT?

thx Julie but I have a brand new control for FSL and its working fine according to control but to me when meter is that far off makes you wonder about its accuracy for Do Lou and I have several FSL and have tested several over last couple of days they are all the same :YMSIGH:

Hi Lisa, very frustrating with the meter variance. All I can do is sympathize. :-x Also sympathize with those numbers. :roll: :?

funny you should ask but I have tried it on them and its within their normal range as well I have control for all my meters but honestly I think control is all about then same I bet no matter the brand JMO anyway

I wonder if you checked your BG on the Relion and the FS....it might be interesting.

I know alot of people feel they want the meter that reads lower in case numbers do get low. But when they get low, I have found the variance is much smaller. For that reason, I kept using my OT over the FS because I want to be sure I'm catching the high numbers and giving enough insulin.

Yes have checked them on myself both are almost the same on me so go figure... and seems like most of my meters read about the same when he is low I have compared in the past but its been some time my main concern was he is not getting enough hence the switch in meters since he has signs saying he needs more which is actually what lead me to meter comparing to begin with the drinking and peeing too much

Hi Lisa, I hope DoLou comes down. A lot of our our kitties seem to have higher than normal numbers lately. Thanks for visiting us today. I didn't know you sometimes use the ATrak. It does read higher, and it can be frustrating using more than one meter. I used to do it and at times still do when getting a wonky number.
