Good morning LL!
It is a gorgeous fall day here, Tom is happily snoozing in a pile of clean laundry after spending a few hours in bed with me. We read a good book, had a nice hot
Tom was not tested today, batteries ran out in our new meter :roll: but, his numbers have been great (plan to update spreadsheet today), no shot given in a while.
He is doing great. He looks good, except for some fur still missing on his chest but getting better, eating well, catching his toy mouse for us. The mass looks the same, which is good. It doesn't seem to have grown.
Talked to the vet this week to refill the Pred. script. Vet who had given Tom a few weeks but likely only a few days left...6 weeks ago. He was thrilled that Tom proved him wrong
We're still takng it one day at a time. Enjoying every moment with him. Tom is approx. 18 and 3 months now (unlike Rocket's mom, i don't know the exact count :lol: ) Rocket is an inspiration to us.
I am leaving tomorrow evening for a long planned and booked vacation with my mom and sister. Vegas here we come! I know I can't be guaranteed that Tom will be perfectly fine but I am leaving with at least peace of mind that he is doing well and is home with DH and DD.
Guys, mom is going away. Who's ready to have a party? She will be having a blast, why shouldn't we?
