WCR: All Ps in place. Appy is ok this morning. Having to hold bowl and kind of sweet talk her. Got snuggles last night and greeted this morning with her sitting on the floor, staring at me! Oh, she's been having bouts of hiccups lately. Seems very strange.

Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

oh wow on the hiccups. One of mince used to do that too. Always seemed so odd: a kitty with the hiccups.

Hi, Deborah, I don't think I've seen a kitty with hiccups ~ I used to have a pup who would get hiccups whenever he got into trouble (which was often) :lol: .
I hope Shasta's appy improves. Although it is quite adorable that you had to hold her bowl and sweet talk her this morning.
Shasta, are you going to have a nice blue surf today?

I've never heard of a cat getting hiccups before. I hope Shasta's appy gets better soon.

Awww...thanks everyone for stopping by and peeking in on Shasta! She seems to be doing a bit better as of late. She still seems a bit wobbly on her feet at times and somewhat lethargic, but her peeing and pooping and water intake are getting back to normal. I've stopped the Potassium supplements for the time being...thinking that may have been the cause. As for the hiccups, I only notice them because she lays down next to me after she's eaten and I feel her whole body "hiccup". This is what one website says about cat hiccups:

Hiccups, if sudden and chronic, could be a sign of a bigger problem, such as a tumor, organ disease, or even nerve problems. Especially if an old cat starts hiccupping like never before, it's worth a trip to the veterinarian to check for problems.
Hiccups could also be a sign of an emotional problem, like separation anxiety.

Just one more thing to freak me out. Thanks, internet. No really...thanks a bunch. nailbite_smile

Tomorrow is another big day for me and my students. Our big fundraiser is being delivered and then it's time to start putting together everyone's cheesecake orders and make sure they all get picked up at the end of the day. After school is a typical Wednesday of running a rehearsal, racing home for Shasta's shot, then racing back to chiropractor. Keep your fingers crossed that all my students pick up all their items. If not, I become one CRANKY teacher!!!

Interesting on the hiccups. My youngest civvie, used to get them when he was a kitten. He used to sleep between my legs and I could feel/hear them when he came to settle in. They have stopped now. Darn internet, has such power to make us worry~ Hope you and Shasta have a good night :smile:
