All the conga dancing at Camp Stu last night brought Zener's BG down into blue last night and he's back there again mid cycle this am. Must have loved all the goodies at the full moon party as his appy was a little subdued this morning. We'll get a +6 in a hour to see how things look, dare we hope for :mrgreen: ?

Vetty visit for our civvie Tillie today, routine senior kitty exam and an anal gland check. Zener will be delighted she is going and not him!

Hi guys .. ooo looking good my man! That blue almost has a tinge of green to it .. I hope he hit's them for you today .. Zener, don't be gloating your sister is going to the vetty's and you aren't, that's not nice :-D have a great weekend guys!

What a lovely shade of blue! Hope Tillie has a nice vetty visit. Do they both get nervous when the carrier comes out?

Linda: thanks for the reminder about the carrier! I just went and got it out of the garage and into the bathroom. I read that on the message board, to get the carrier out before it's time to go. I'm wearing a sweatshirt. Tillie sheds like crazy when she goes to the vet. She gets so scared that she shivers. Poor baby.

Lisa: that's right! On a human meter, Zener would be green. :mrgreen:

He's gone up to 135 @+6, could be from the food.

I have a carrier technique that I use for our civie, a defiant boy who loves boxes. I put the carrier in the corner and tell him "Doobie, you stay OUT of that box". I leave the room for a minute and sure enough, he is loaded up when I come back.

We're home from the vet, civvie Tillie was very well behaved, will get blood work results tomorrow. Anal glands needed a little "expressing". :shock:
Dental is set for Zener Dec 13, right when we get out of school, so no worries with work schedules. Zener is currently on yard patrol, neighbor kitty came to visit the yard earlier today, so Zener is sniffing every rock and stick to make sure all is as it should be. He is feeling very good today. :-D

What a nice lovely AM cycle. We were a little :shock: to go from 174 to 330 in just 2 hours, so suspect it's another bounce. Poor guy bounces every time he gets some nice numbers. At least he is consistent. :roll:

Hi Anne, what a nice cycle today for Zener. The Conga dancing was a riot with the kitties. So Zener needs a dental. Glad Tilly had a good vetty visit and hope you get good results from the bw.

Too bad there's no conga line tonight, it sure helped bring down Zener's BG last night. ;-)

Ann, yes, dental for the big guy. Our vet went over the risks with anesthesia for a FD kitty but we think it might help his numbers to have a dental. His breath is pretty bad these days and our animal communicator told us Zener's teeth were bothering him. We are a little nervous about it, but it's still a month away, so maybe his BG will be a little more stable then. :roll:

Our vet will call us in the morning with Tillie's bloodwork results. She was very well behaved.

Awwww Roni, thanks for the dancing kitties! Moonie was such a big help in motivating Zener.
We have paws crossed we see some more blues soon.

What a great cycle for Zener this morning!! Fingers and paws crossed that the bounce clears quickly, AND that Tillie's bloodwork comes back with fantastic written all over it! Hope you guys have a great weekend lined up!!

Thanks Christie! We are enjoying a 3-day weekend and have no big plans other than catching up on sleep and getting to the grocery store! And, of course, spending time with the fur kids. :-D hope you have a good one!
