It's dental day! Sue hasn't eaten since midnight (9 hours). He's not happy about it! I use a mobile vet who will bring her mobile clinic to my driveway :) I'll update you all on the dental when we're all done. Cross your fingers for him!!!!

She said his thyroid number was kind of crazy and she's never really seen a cat with that number unless they've had the 131I radiation. (10-6-10 his thyroid was 3.1) Maybe some sort of test error?
She said his weight is good (9.14) and that he shouldn't gain any more.
He has lost more teeth than he actually has left. He has a tooth fragment in the back and she isn't sure she wants to pull it. Would need dental xrays. Keep an eye on it.

Re: 11/11 Sue OTJ Trial Day 3, AMBG=92, PMBG=72,Bloodwork in

Sue ate a little too much and threw up, but he seems to be doing okay now. The vet warned me about that. He has spent most of the day sleeping, as have I (don't feel well).

Jenny:

If you want people to comment on Sue's labs, we'll need reference ranges.

Generally, post-anesthesia, you need to feed in small amounts. The anesthesia slows gastric motility and you can get scarf-and-barf.
