AMPS 95 - no insulin needed this morning.

He has not had any insulin in 24 hours at this point so we shall see where this goes...

PMPS 132 - gave a skinny .25 and will monitor very closely tonight. Making sure he eats well by standing there (he loves company when he eats :lol: ) and talking sweet talk to him and telling him what a "good boy" he is (he loves those words and will do most anything when I tell him he is a "good boy" ;-)

Lucky you. Niko is never impressed with words - just treats. :mrgreen: The way it has worked with others kitties going OTJ is just what you're doing. Small doses when numbers climb. Then insulin often lasts for 24 hours or more. Then catch the rise with another mini dose. You and Simon are doing great!

Can Simon come and visit with Rumpelteazer for a few weeks? Maybe he can teach her how to become an "unsweetened" kitty. :lol: :YMSIGH:

LOL...my sugar boy is sweet even when he is OTJ. I am blessed as he has the best disposition. It is almost as though he knows we "rescued" him from that shelter and is thanking us by being a good boy every day but he does have his moments too...after all, he is a CAT! Hahaha!
