Looks like PurrFace is going to start the day out in the green. Nice but I sure wish he would have been a little farther up the scale. I drew the insulin into the syringe and when I purged the excess to get to the 0.25U dose I went a tiny bit farther than normal so he might have gotten a skinny dose, but it was awfully close. He ate 5 tsp MC (9%) at shot time. I guess like several folks said "he's on a mission." I'll be gone again today so the DW is pulling solo duty again. I'll try to keep the SS updated.

Wow!! Great shooting!!! I'm beaming like a proud mom because you and Donna have taken the bull by the horns and are just marching along!

Hi Marje. You should be proud. You did a great job teaching us but don't go too far away because we are definitely still in the beginner stage and not ready to take the training wheels off yet. :lol: :lol: :lol:
Off to get grandson #2 to flounder fishing. He's 10 and in school when #1 (20 yrs) is off of work or out of school so unfortunately I can't get them both at once like old times.

Hi John, Nice greens for PurrFace today! :mrgreen: His mission continues! Hope he stays steady at this dose for while before more excitement. Maybe just to keep you guessing, he will earn his next reduction the slow (14 cycles) way instead of the low (<50) way.

Thanks Karen & Dyana. PurrFace is having a pretty good day today and hopefully a peaceful night. :mrgreen:
We caught some fish but no flounder that were legal size :sad: . Still to warm. Cold front due tomorrow or Tuesday then it should be real good. :smile:

Ole' PurrFace had a nice green AM cycle finishing with an 83. So far he has been doing real good on this 0.25U dose. Hope everyone is having a great evening.

Hi Marje. I think (hope) he'll have a non-eventful night. I'm tempted to not set the alarm for a +6/+7 tonight but I'm sure I will. If not I won't be able to sleep anyway.

We decided to sleep without setting the alarm clock and PurrFace greeted us at 5:30 (CDT) this morning with nice green 82. DW gave him extra hugs for that. He walked around so proud like he knew what just happened. :lol:
