Mark has gone after Sylvie twice (that we are aware of) since 11/7. Both times were nowhere near as aggressive as that night. Both times, I fed a small snack and that ended it. If Mark wants some food, I'd much rather he yowl his crazy head off to let me know instead of attacking Sylvia.

It’s a couple of episodes with that...jimmy going after his civvie sister and it was about food. For Jimmy I have to make sure he finishes last so Marley can eat then walk away, preen do her thing etc. then he finishes, preens does his thing. It was when Jimmy either didn’t enough to satisfy or Marley was still after the fact Jimmy finished his. It hasn’t happened in awhile until I figured that out. Plus one of those times his numbers were really high 400s.

I've noticed that my cats (do what I call) play fight before being fed. It's a little aggressive, hissing, growling, chasing, and some biting and hair pulling or collar snagging (Ginger can get her claws snagged into Jackson's collar and then she sits on her hind feet only and swats him in the face with her other paw (while he sits there and looks at her and dodges her swings)). I don't know why this is so common around my house, except that it is a way to get my attention. As soon as I feed them, they eat side by side, and then groom, and usually go take a nap.

I wish Mark didn't need to get my attention this way while I'm sleeping!
