11/11 Kim's Shadow amps~60, +5~74, pmps~83

[Kim 'n Shadow]

we had to shoot this morning at +11 because I was called in early to work. How do I show that on my SS?

I couldn't help but notice on my way out the door this morning that the Miralax had come thru for Shadow in a sizable way. I hardly got to spend any time with her this morning before I had to leave, so she has that one P for sure. I left lots of little bowls out around the house and most of them were knocked off when I got home so she has eaten well.

I am headed down for nap, I'll catch up with everyone a bit later.

Here's what I said:

I'm glad you got a +10 today. It looks like Shadow is giving some inverted curves, which probably means she is ready for a dose shave even though she is not all green yet. Let's see what her +12 is.

thanks for the input re: inverted curves. I've been very puzzled about that because nothing has changed, our cartridge is still fairly new, couldn't figure it out.

now something else to read up on.

I would go ahead and try shaving to a straight 1.5 tomorrow. I think she is ready.

Inverted curves are interesting because they can mean too much insulin, or too little insulin, or they could mean nothing, or they could mean something else altogether. :lol: Usually they don't matter too much until a cat is on a teeny dose of insulin. If a cat that is on 0.1 units and is about to go OTJ starts to throw inverted curves, they can be a sign that the cat is ready for OTJ. Because Shadow's dose is much higher than 0.1, I'm probably reading too much into her curves. Still, I think it's interesting.
