All is well in CurryLand.

Last night was a bit strange....Curry was walking away as I attempted to shoot her....didn't know if it went in or into the right place.....Then she was very flat all evening....wonder if she got any juice last night or not.....however, I didn't smell the insulin.....who knows.

I think if she hadn't gotten her insulin last night, today's numbers wouldn't have dropped so low already because the shed would probably be refilling. Maybe she was just being a cat last night and doing her own thing. ;-)

Wait a minute....we can have bean agendas? We can do something that doesn't revolve around the cat? WHERE have I been?? :lol: :lol:

Wow...what a beautiful AMPS for Curry and she is just surfin' this. I've had Gracie do that walkin' away thing...it's frustrating cuz you have no idea how
much juice they got and you think "I want a do over". But Curry is doing such a wonderful job today...BRAVO!!!

Unfortunately my hidden agenda has to do w/my kitty. I mentioned it in someone else's post........Bottom line....was hoping Miss Curry would be off the juice before Jan. 15th when I'll have a little more added resposibilites at work and wondering how it will impact me taking care of Curry.....Anticipatory worry or planning ahead.....whatever floats your boat....I do both.

So w/Sid slowly adding canned to her menu (going slow as I don't want an GI problems) I'm now getting to deal w/whose food bowl smells better....Its the exact same food....just put in different places....and of course I want to make sure Curry is eating her quota of food....Need to get food into her the first 2 hours as she likes to nadir at +3. Then I want to make sure Sid is getting enough food...calorie wise......Life gets easier right? NOT. :mrgreen:

One more day of Joint Commission for those of you who work in medical settings and will understand what that means.......Stress........It sounds like we are doing a great job though.....There is an internal blog going at work that updates us by the minute as to where the surveyors are...what they are asking....etc.

I know about those site visits!! I try to stay locked in my office!!

Does Curry have plans for your tonight? (I assume that is a +3 at 54 vs. a +54?)

yeah, I know about those visits too. always a huge relief when those people are out of the building. stressful is an understatement.

Tena - I know you, you will find a way to make this all work this next semester. You'll juggle Curry's schedule as you need to and go right on. She's doing so well and you are too.

I'm afraid putting a time limit on her is a sure path to disappointment. I'm dealing with that right now. I think I told you that I was going to have SHadow OTJ by the time this trip came up Nov 30. And when Shadow heard me say that, she just laughed and laughed. :-D

So now I'm having to come up with a plan B. And I will. And you will too.
