Hi everybody. Sorry I haven't posted for a couple of days. All in all Tori has continued to do well. Her appetite has been good and she's been playful and very affectionate. A happy kitty -just the way we like it. Her numbers have almost totally been yellow though with only a couple of highish blues thrown in for good luck. As you all know I am not a very patient person so I put her up to a 1.5 Fat this morning. Hopefully we'll start to see a bit of a move on that.
This afternoon Tori has her vet appointment. She'll have her CBC checked and hopefully her WBC will be high enough that she will be able to receive her chemo. Her last treatment was on September 17th I think so it's almost 2 months. The CCNU is given usually every 3 to 6 weeks depending on the type of Lymphoma and the kitties WBC. We had decided to go monthly but with her 2 bad CP flares and the borderline White cell count it of course was put on hold. SO hopefully today will be the day. I must say I'm feeling quite anxious today. I want to be able to get on with the treatment again. So far her nodes have stayed down but I don't want to push our luck too far. This checking her neck every day and sometimes more than once a day is enough to drive a person crazy. I keep thinking what if Doug finds another node somewhere ? AM I missing something? It's very stressful.
Anyway I must go and get some sleep so I'm functional for the appointment. Please say little prayer for Missy Kitty today that everything goes well and maybe some calming vines for me.
Have a good day everybody.
