Yesterday Neko had a yellow start, and as usual went up, just like this morning. She spent the rest of yesterday in the yellows and pinks.

It's a glorious sunny day and both cats are camped in the solarium again. Our last BG test was with Neko in her basket there. She loves to just knead away at her fleece in the basket before settling in. That's how I managed to distract her for a while this morning when she started yelling for breakfast 15 minutes early. I put her on the fleece at the foot of the bed and she purred and kneaded it until the alarm went off. That trick only sometimes works as a distraction from getting fed.
Hoping Neko will go down a floor today. If not, dosecrease the day after tomorrow. Tomorrow I will go to the island to visit my parents for Remembrance Day. My DF is a WW2 navy vet and he likes to put on his medals and attend the ceremony. It's a small community based ceremony with choirs and almost every organization on the island laying a wreath. The ceremony is timed around the ferry arrival and departure and the old Harvard trainer airplanes fly over at the end. My father has a hard time walking the distance, so I'll go over to drive him to the front of the service, and bring a chair for him to sit in. This year I think he's one of just two WW2 vets left on the island.
