Xrays show no bladder stones or anything else suspicious I am assuming. Vet is stumped as to why neither the clavamox or baytril is working - they are getting a sterile sample and sending it in to see if we can't figure out an antibiotic that will work. Kazi used the LB right before we left so I had to leave her there because her bladder was too small to do anything.

Well I hope you figure out what's going on with kazi soon ... the amps is nice, but Im sure you are anxious to get the right meds going for her ... try and have a good day, ok?

I hope too that they can figure out what to do for kazi - how frustrated and worried you must be. I am sorry she had to stay - that always seems to happen to me too. Good luck with everything.

gosh dang it...hoping they get it figured out...
bet kazi can't wit to get back home

PMPS were 25 minutes late due to work. For having spent the day at the vet AND having a late shot I am more than happy with her PMPS. I had a good cry on the way home from the vet which is silly when you think that I had actually received GOOD news that nothing showed up on the xray. I am just overloaded/stressed/worried - amazing how much more I worry about her than my other furry beasts. We may have preliminary results on her urine by Saturday...but it will likely be about a week before everything comes back.

She is doing pretty well though, acts like she feels just fine for the most part. She has been drinking a bit more but otherwise no obvious symptoms of being sick. The only thing that tipped me off that something was up was her BG numbers spiking into the 200s. Just another reason its good that everyone here keeps such close tabs on that I suppose.

Thanks for all the well wishes!
