Good morning, LL! ☼
Ripley is feeling better this morning than she did last night.
Yesterday started off with a "normal" Ripley ~ you'd never even know she hadn't been feeling well. Bit the afternoon & evening she was back to feeling lethargic and sad. She ate some dinner on her own, but I ended up syringing most of it.
This morning I gave her a tiny crumb of cypro, and she's snacking on her breakfast on her own. I also added a few drops of tuna water to her food, so I'm sure this is helping, too. I may be turning her into a tuna monster. She keeps sniffing in the kitchen, looking for the can of the actual tuna. She want the fish, not just the juice. I may give in if it helps her to eat more. I also may use the tuna to my advantage for future pilling and meds administering. I don't know why I didn't think of it before...
Her numbers are coming down, which may mean her infection is lessening.
She has a vetty appt this afternoon to see how she's responding to the ABs, etc.
I'm so glad I didn't hospitalize her on Tues (as the vet recommended).
Thank you for the visits last night, Amy, Pam, and Mariko.
Pam has given me me newest mantra: baby steps.
Sending vines to all in need today, including to my Ripples.
