Yesterday
Morning everyone! Shadow is doing well again this morning, thankfully. He had some Nature's Variety Instinct Rabbit both at 4 am and again at 8am. I am just so pleased and happy that he is eating.
Sending hugs to you all!

Good eating Shadow! Get stronger every day.
Pat, I hope you are feeling a tiny bit less stress as Shadow's appetite is better. I hope his appetite continues to improve. ((((Pat))))

Thank you guys...and CD...i hope you are feeling better...how are the black and blues?
Michelle and Scrabble..hope your stay is a short one too...not that we don't like having you here...LOL...but the Falls are THE place to really be...right?

I am so confused about this Pancreatitis even after being through it. Strange that ECID and that they manifest different symptoms with different intensities. And then, it seems that pain meds and fluids do help but anti nausea and pepcid play big roles too. I gues with an "itis" there is inflammation and it just needs to subside....but it IS rather vague as to what exactly causes it and what exactly will stop it and when.
Still not over the frantic feeling of helplessness....reading everything I could read about it online. And watching my poor boy after he ate to see if it would stay down. I guess we had a mild case the more I think of it.....but I wouldn't wish it on anyone even if it was mild. It doesn't help that our kitties cannot tell us what is bothering them....so we have to watch intently and try many things to help them......
It seems that it doesn't come upon them overnight ..although it may seeem like it does to us. Cats have a way of hiding their problems....and issues. So we really have to play the mind meld game and watch intently to just about everything they eat and do.....

At least THEY don't wear socks and attempt a staircase without holding on to the bannisters!!!!!!!
AHEM! Are you listening CD???
HOLD ON as you go down the stairs from this day forward!!!!

Hi Pat

I'm so happy every day that you say Shadow is eating and feeling better.

I deliberately didn't tell you how bad my dog's pancreatitis was, so as not to scare you. It was brought on by totally different reasons, while I was gone and he was with a sitter. He healed completely, in a couple weeks.

This is why I am soooooooo thrilled that Shadow is eating and getting better. :-D :-D
