Hi guys!
Just thought I should update and let you know that Angel hasn't needed anymore shots.
She's been testing in the 70's again for the last few days and eating pretty well. :)

I'm a little bummed that she suddenly decided she wasn't a fan of Wellness - she's been eating that almost exclusively since she got here - up until her biopsies - and now she will hardly touch it. I've been feeding her Fancy Feast instead, with a little extra phosphorous binder. I guess I should just be happy that she's eating.

I'm thinking about trying her on raw food. Does anyone think feeding raw to cat with liver problems is a bad idea. It seems like it would be a good thing - but what do I know?
I'll do some research on it of course... but if anyone has any information or thoughts on the subject, please feel free to share!

Angel is looking good, Michelle! I hope she continues onward with her nice green numbers!
I have no input on the diet since I have no experience with liver problems, sorry. Hope someone can help you there!

WOW...LOVELY NUMBERS, GUYS!!!

The best person to ask about raw would be Dr. Lisa.

The only concern would be if her liver values are off. The liver processes toxins (it's the body's detoxifying system) so if there's anything iffy about the raw food and her liver isn't working properly, it could be a problem. On the other hand, If you're going to grind your own food, it gives you a lot of control over what you're feeding.

That's what I was thinking Sienne -- at least I would know (for the most part) what she's eating.
And who the heck knows what is actually in Fancy Feast...

Anyway, I haven't found any reason so far not to try it.
So I'll try to make some soon and let you guys know if she eats it.
