Re: 11/07 B the C AMPS:313

Hi guys .. a nice low pink to start the day .. perhaps some yellows at next spot check? Sometimes there are no answers as far as what happens after a shot! Have a great day guys!

Re: 11/07 B the C AMPS:313

nice shooting last night.

I think what happened is that she probably hit green yesterday during the day (you caught her on the way up at +11) and this is a little bounce. Still, it's not a bad bounce at all so hopefully she will clear it out soon.

I'm glad you shot last night, though. Today's numbers probably would have been a lot worse if you hadn't. Looking good!

Thanks Libby! This bouncing up to a high flat level is still odd to me, so I'm glad it looks normal to you...and to hear your thoughts on what might have happened if I hadn't done the shot.

Again, still shifting my head-space from caninsulin's more dramatic ups and downs. To keep stating the obvious: wow, it and Lantus are very different insulins!

I confess that I was also really excited about having a nice flat night (and not a scary night!) as a reward for shooting in the mid-100s...to make it easier next time.

And she keeps feeling better every time she experiences a long normal range BGperiod...so I want them to stay!

I know, patience... :-D Darn life lessons.

I agree with Libby, I dont think it was a fur shot, I am wondering if she had a green yesterday (6th) between AMPS+1 and AMPS +11. Her body just isnt used to being in normal numbers and her liver overreacts. She has risen steadily since then. Might clear overnight since it looks like she has started to come down. Might be an idea to get a few measures tonite.
