Thanks for visiting, and for providing yesterday's link. I keep forgetting that part of it.
Truth be told, I'm feeling a tad overwhelmed right now. Between trying to educate myself on glargine (a form of insulin that didn't even exist when I studied diabetes in school, with a mode of action that also didn't exist), getting decent sticks on my cat when I'm not accustomed to using a needle on anything smaller than 300 lbs, researching where to get the best prices on the supplies I'll need (I've nearly wiped out my test strips in a week, trying to get myself trained and obtain as many readings as possible in the early days), setting up spread sheets and profiles, deal with Selkie's other problems (which includes bleach decontamination of two quarantine rooms on a daily basis) and ... oh never mind, I'm whining now. It isn't becoming.
Selkie's appetite is back, and she's starting to play fetch again, but she's beginning to eye me with suspicion. At least I'm usually getting enough blood for a test by my first or second stick now.
