Been having to keep a hawk eye on Chester. He’s gone below 50 multiple times in the past few days. I’ve heard a few times that back to back dose decreases can cause issues and that’s exactly what Chester is getting. Tomorrow morning will be the 3rd decrease in a row but he’s been steadily decreasing from 2.25 to 1.25 in the last 6-7 cycles. I will probably be updating more often for now

That's an exciting day you had yesterday! Please add today's date and kitty name to your new post this morning...per this recommendation from the moderators:

https://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/threads/posting-guidelines-please-read.231511/
  • Your thread title should conform to the following format:
Date (mo/day) Kitty’s Name AMPS or AMBG subsequent test numbers PMPS or PMBG subsequent test numbers

As an example: 06/26 Fluffy AMPS 220 +2 160 +3 120 +5 100 +8 132 PMPS 200 +2 287 +5 300

If the line gets too long, as above, you can also delete all the a.m. cycle info at PMPS/PMBG so that the a.m. cycle will only have AMPS/AMBG to +11 tests and the p.m. cycle will have PMPS/PMBG to +11 tests.

Have a great day Sofina!

Part of me is nervous to give Chester his shot because he keeps having the same pattern of dipping in the first few hours after shot. And his sugar looks like it might be trending downward right now given his 10+ and AMPS... so many decreases are a bit nerve wracking... I think I’m going to go ahead and give him his shot because I will be home all day today. Part of me is worried about him possibly not needing insulin anymore.. but I suppose if it continues like this we would only have 4 more cycles of full doses left until he would the .01u dose correct? It’s all happening so quick
