WCR: All is good in BlackieLand.

Had to take DH to the clinic yesterday morning, and then did our usual errands right afterwards. He has a sore right elbow, which he said locked up on him on the drive home on Friday night. By Saturday morning, it hadn't gotten any better after icing it down the night before, so he was thinking that he needed to go to emergency. I told him that I'll take him to the clinic, and then go from there. We also had to drop the car off at the mechanics, which I drove as he couldn't use the shift. Then, had to get more medication for my horse so that she wasn't in any pain, and then headed to the clinic where we sat around for about a good 2.5+ hours. We got there at around 10:30, give or take. Then, we finally got out of there, headed to do our shopping (I pushed the cart while he just walked around feeling helpless, and mumbling that he felt helpless, to which I replied that it is what it is). Had to pick up 2 bags of peat moss for my horse's barn, and afterwards, another 50 lb. bag of feed plus her wormer at a neighboring store (Tractor Supply). His brother had called him, and wanted him to come down so that they can catch up, so when we finally got back home (just after 4), I drove him straight to his brother's place (2 doors down), came back, unloaded the moss and the feed into a wheelbarrow, unloaded the groceries from the truck, carried them to the house, unpacked them and placed them to where they needed to go, got a cookie for my horse, went out to the wheelbarrow and rolled the wheelbarrow with the 3 bags and the wormer tucked inside with cookie on top to the barn, gave the wormer to the horse, gave cookie to horse after wormer, unloaded the moss and dropped them onto the stall floor, ripped open each bag and dumped each bag onto the floor, got the hay rake and tried to smooth and even it out as much as possible, went back to the wheelbarrow and unloaded the 50 lb. bag of feed into the metal can (don't bother dumping the feed anymore.. just keep it in the bag), realized that I forgot the medicine for her, and went back to get it, got back to the barn and put medication in pre-measured feed amount, petted her and talked to her for a few moments before heading back to the house where I had to clean out all the boxes, and then do my dishes, and then take care of Blackie, and everyone else. By the time I was done, I was starting to fall asleep in my chair. The day before I just left her alone for a day, and only got 2 PS tests done.

Bubba... He's now eating Purina Kitten Chow as of yesterday. And losing weight. And the bleeding's back. It seems that he prefers the kitten chow because of it's size of kibble, which is fine with me. I only purchased the smallest bag as I didn't want to waste any of it. He's still not eating very much, if any, of the wet food. He'll lick the gravy off of the meat, and I picked up a few cans of meat with gravy on it. As long as he's eating, and drinking he's still with us. I'll need to monitor how much he's bleeding, though. If it gets any worse than this, I don't know. So far, it seems to be a trace amount.

Off the computer for a bit to go outside and start sawing apart a felled tree that a storm blew down a week ago. DH can't use the chain saw, and he's right handed. I should add this to my household resume, too. Sheesh.

MY WISH: For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who lost a beloved pet and/or human... For God to help those ailing make a full and speedy recovery... For everyone to have great #s... For everyone to be OTJ.
