I am a little worried about having shot a 134 this morning but since I shot a 124 the other day I hope this will be OK. Ray will test Calistica at +2 and +3. I am leaving for work shortly so I'm a little concerned. She seems to have a bit of a food spike most of the time so I hope today won't be different. I think I'm going to test her at +.50

Nice 'hooting, and excellent testing! Great job, Thelma!! The more data you get, the less worrisome it is.

Thanks Amy! I just faxed the SS to our vet. I want her to have better data. She had the first curve but now we have better info.
We are taking Calistica in for labs on Friday.

Good luck with the vet visit. I'm sure your vet will be impressed with Calistica's progress. I know I am!!

Thanks for stopping by. I'm so glad you all think we're doing great!
I faxed Calistica's SS to her vet and just spoke with her. She's very impressed with how well Cali is responding to her insulin treatment. Then added: I'm not surprised. She is super woman anyway! :lol: :lol: :lol:

What a great job you are doing, Thelma. Calistica is doing great and obviously your vet also thinks things are going well. She has to be impressed with all the data you have. Keep up the good work!

AWWW! You're all so kind! Thank you very much for your kind comments and feedback. I really owe it all to you!

I've been having a hard time seeing the blood in Calistica's black ear. Do any of you have this problem? I'm going to have to start using one of those head lights! Ray had one and I tried it today. It kind of helped but I hope it will be better tomorrow now that I've adjusted the light into a better position. At first the vet had the lab techs shave her ear but now the fur is growing back and I'm having a hard time seeing the little blood drop.
I think it's my astigmatism that makes need a lot of light. I need flood lights!
I also think that now that the fur is longer the blood is getting absorbed by the fur!

PMPS + 287 - Are we bouncing?
