WCR: All Ps in place. She didn't eat much when I first put down her fuds, but now that I'm sitting here holding her bowl...she's eating now. So, I'm worried with her increased water intake. It feels like she's back to her pre-diagnosis water intake. :? I don't feel like there's a 'reason' for the increase. The only thing that has been changed in her diet is the introduction of Potassium. I skipped her K tab this morning...just not sure what's going on with that. I did get snuggles last night at bedtime. Play, purrs & preening...all good. Keeping my fingers crossed for another good poo today!

Today is the start of my students big brochure sale...cheesecakes, cookie dough, etc. keeping my fingers crossed that the kids get their act together and get out there and sell some fuds! Chorus room needs some new acoustic treatment! :-D Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

Of course she will eat when served. Silly Shasta. Eat your fuds. That is strange on the water intake. We have never used potassium. Is that a side effect? Snuggles are a good sign she is feeling ok though. Have a great day Deborah!

It sounds like Shasta just wants her mombean to watch her eat. How nice on the snuggles last night.

Hi Deborah,

Shasta sounds like she loves her snuggle time! Best way to eat is with your mum right beside you, holding the bowl!

Has Shasta had recent labs done? Cleo still drinks quite a bit of water (even with her short time OTJ), but she is in early CKD, and I think that has something to do with her water intake. Since I started adding water to her food, she spends less time at the water bowl.

Hope your kids sell ALOT of goodies!!

Jane
