Owen is so new to fd that he’s bound to bounce. For now look at the 5 p’s to decide if he’s bothered by it. Peeing? Pooping? Purring? Preening? Playing?

According to Kris he is doing all of those things normally - except peeing more than usual. Here’s what she said:
“He really does act so normal in most ways. If it hadn’t been for the weight loss I doubt I would know anything was wrong.
Oh! One thing he does more than I remember is peeing …a lot.”

Looks like he is coming down off this bounce. We’ll see where that takes us today! :confused:
 
That’s good. They are more than just bg numbers. He will pee less when the bg is more stable. One thing I forgot to ask. Did he have ketones when diagnosed?

No ketones when diagnosed. We should probably be checking that periodically though. I will pick up some strips for Kris.

144 at +7. Looks like an increase tomorrow unless we get a surprise this evening.
