Morning ~O) ~O) looking forward to Mannie's brew, yes! We have a sunny yellow, and I guess it's Maggie eating too close to the +10 with free feeding. The dish is taken away at +10! If there were a way I could get Mags to use the feeder, I bet her AMPS might be lower. All seems well with Maggie, good appy, playful, and really focused on looking for her bf, Mr. Skunkie. Now just for the record, Vyktor is still her soul mate, but while he's dallying around the Falls, she has some locals to escort her, you know, just friends. :lol:
We will be having a nice Fall weather day, low 70's, so I plan on getting out and about and first picking up Maggie's meds. Everyone is so excited here as rain, and maybe even some thunder, is forecast for this Thursday. Have a nice day.

ETA Almost forgot - for Poo Patrol, Maggie reports no prezzie yet, but it's still early! :-D

Great to hear that Maggie is feeling good. Playful is always a good sign with her. Almost blue Mags! Bring it on down! Get out and enjoy the fall weather. That is very exciting on the rain. I know you guys need it. Have a great day Ann!!

Mags jumped up onto her testing spot, so I thought she might be diving, but turns out she just wanted some of the new food I tried. She really loves the Avoderm Chicken which is on Dr. Lisa's list. The only problem is it's 9 carbs but the Phosphorus is good! So I'll use it as a mixer.

Thanks Melissa, it is good news when she's playful. Yes, great on our Fall weather and rain. Next year I'm moving to a cooler climate just for the summer.

Thanks Jane & Karre for stopping in to visit Maggie! She sure is a Happy Camper right now, as she just had some Avoderm Chicken. I only bought one can, and I think it was at PetsMart.

Always nice when they like the food isn't it. I saw that brand the other day while at petsmart. I might have to give it a try. :cool: it would be good to have another high end LC food.

So fun on the excitement over the rain... it will be the same here: we are due for some this weekend too.

Very nice Mags report!!! I may try the Avoderm for Mario. I have a feeling it would spike Trix, but Mario can handle the carbs. I'm attempting to keep the menu simple - meaning Mario and Trix (and everyone else, if they would do me the favor of eating canned fuds!!!) could eat the same fuds, which means they need to be both low carb and low phos. But really, that's just to keep DH's head from exploding when he has to feed them on nights I'm working late! I'd like to get more variety going for each of them, which does mean there are fuds Trix could eat that Mario can't, and vice versa.

Anyway...Maggie is coming down very nicely this morning. Sending poo vines her way!!

Shadow liked the avoderm too. I'm still a little nervous about the avocado oil. But I think we may allow some in the rotation.

Nice BLUES there Maggie! Tess loves the Avoderm chicken too! I've been mixing it w/ the NV Raw Chicken in a 40/60 mix. It brings the carbs down to 4.20% and the Phos to 137mg/100kcal, much lower than 1%! I have a new SS tab w/ a calculator I worked out to figure out the carbs and Phos for mixes of food. I think I can save it as an excel file that you can download to figure out your own mix combos.

Sorry I have been so absent, but between the computer issues, DM and now Tess UTI , I have been swamped. :?

Thanks for visiting while I was out picking up Maggie's meds and shopping for the Avoderm Chicken and then also looking for the Beechnut ham bf. I went to Walmart and Vons grocers, and neither had the Beechnut ham bf. Oh well, the chicken will work. Mags is sleeping soundly and ate some food while I was gone. so I don't think I'll bother waking her up for a poke.

Hi Michelle, yes, exciting with the rain. I bet Mannie would love the Avoderm. I don't know how high i t will spike Maggie though. I keep raising her dose. Some of it meds spike, too.

Amy, thanks on the poo vines. I had her syringe ready for the Lactulose dose this morning and when I came home, it was in the same spot. I must have done something else intending on coming back and forgot it!

Hi Rhiannon, it was nice to see Mags back in the blues. If only we could keep her surfing. Oh I didn't notice the avocado oil, such strange things they sometimes add to the fuds! :?

Ann & Tess, not to worry with being absent as you've had a lot going on with DM and puters, etc., and now Tess Thanks on the SS tab, and I'll check on it. You're a genius with that stuff. Sending healing vines for Tess.

Oh my! ohmygod_smile Well, no more Avoderm Chicken for Maggie. She had less than 1/4 of a can, and some of that portion was eaten yesterday. I guess with being so carb sensitive and the 9 carbs, even with the mixing, it was too many carbs! It's too bad as Mags loved, sitting there with a Cheshire grin and smacking her lips after devouring it!

Whoa there, Mags!! Too bad the Avoderm was too high for her. Trix is the same way...so carb sensitive...that I'm sure she'd be in the same boat. At least you know what caused the stinkus pinkus!

Amy, that's right; I can rule that one out for sure! I only bought two cans today at Petsmart, as that is all they had on the shelf. Mags does better on FF T&G except I think it's too high in phosphorus.

Oh my goodness, Maggie! The Avoderm chicken sure does do a spike. Ann, I may buy some of it for Cleo since it is low in phosphorus. I am always looking for food that she will like. Good thing she doesn't have to worry about the carbs. But no Avoderm for Mr. Simon. Enjoy the cooler weather. We are also very cool today -- I am loving it!

Back to blue, unbelievable how carb sensitive. Din din was just Wellness Turkey. With the pink PMPS, I knew I could wait four hours for Mags to come down.

Hi Georgia, the Avoderm Chicken would be a very good food for Cleo, and I think she would like it.

Hi Carla, yeah darn it with the Avoderm. I may just need to keep raising her bg so that she can eat the lower phosphorus.

Hi Anne & Zener, I just checked and no prezzie. I wonder if I didn't add enough Miralax this time. I may have shorted her. Hopefully tonight. I'll do a mix of water and Miralax tonight.

Hope there was a magical poo for you from the Mags!! Ups & downs today but she landed in the blues..Seems she is doing better, Maggie is a champ!! Hope tomorrow is even better-BTW I am giving Moonie a higher carb food 7% and its raising her too a little, but she eats so that's the most important thing --Right? WE Lubs You & Send big Hugs from us!
