Yesterday's Loose Lips

Dr. B sent me an email via iPhone late night night  He's in VT. Guess he did take off for the holiday weekend  He wasn't able to see the video of Leroy panting/lip smacking (Googled that and apparently Youtube videos are currently not viewable with iPhones for some complicated techincal reason). He said he'd try again tomorrow (which would be today) and I'm going to try to email the video to him.

Here's Mr. Troublemaker enjoying some sun:

A nice warm weekend here :-D It got up to 80F yesterday and will be just as warm today :-D

I've seen lots of different 'coughing/breathing' issues with cats but must admit, I've never seen this action. It almost looks like he's got something caught in his throat...I'm curious about the vet's opinion...

He's SO SO pretty!!!

i was thinking just what karrie said - he positively glows in the sunshine!

somehow i've managed to waste the entire morning doing a lot of nothing. can't seem to get motivated - and i'm still taking demerol for last week's dental stuff and think it's making me tired. good thing there wasn't anything necessary on today's to-do list!

we're headed out to another quilt show. this is apparently quilt show season in the northwest because there have been a ton of them in the past month.

Lyresa's comment put me in mind of a situation we had with one of our droolers once. She got a stick caught crossways in the roof of her mouth. It evidently wan't causing great pain, just annoying her. Every once in a while she would kind of snort while she was breathing.

ohhh your kitty is soooo beautiful -

he looks sooo healthy and not stressed during that panting at all - certainly doesn't resemble any seizure activity at all. And the way he runs and sits - doesn't seem to be heart related - altho that's always a concern for me. Have to wonder like what Linda said - something stuck???

give your kitty a big hug for me - wishing you a most wonderful day!

Dr. B still couldn't see the video I attached to the email :? Dumb iPhones and their inability to play videos that is not in some Apple-specific format unless you have a special app

Guess Dr. B didn't take his laptop with him. So I'm going have to wait until Tuesday for Dr. B to look at the video.

Leroy doesn't have anything stuck in his mouth. I brush his teeth daily and check his mouth. He can eat just fine so I don't think anything could be stuck in his throat and just randomly causing issues. When the video was taken, Leroy hadn't eaten anything for over an hour and his teeth were sparkling clean.

Glad everyone likes the pic of Leroy  Leroy loves to lounge in the sun. Emma does too but she's a bit camera shy.
