FINALLY! Blue again! I was beginning to wonder if we were going to SEE it again! Hey Pook - bet you can't make it down to the greens today. He's been in the 200's and even those UUGLY Pink numbers - I finally shooted dat big pink toad with a bit of extra au juis yesterday. It DID work! I knew he was low this morning as all he wanted to do was chew on the plastic potato sack...does that every time he's low. Wierd kitty!
Scruffy (Heart kitty) wasn't doing well yesterday and not so well this morning. He's getting weaker and fell about 2 foot trying to get off his sleeping shelf. He didn't hurt himself seriously but I know it had to hurt his old bones. I completely redid his room yesterday afternoon - his sleeping place is now only 3 feet off the ground and is 4 foot square. I built 4 big steps for him to use to get up and down. There's no place he can slip and fall now, I enclosed the other three sides about a foot high. Everything on his shelf is covered in a big fluffy comforter with his 'bed' (an old high sided drawer filled with soft blanket) in the middle. I'm not sure how much longer he'll be with us but he'll be greatly loved to the end - I'm so thankful he knows that he IS loved. I've noticed he's been wanting more cuddling the last few days, this is probably a sign that things are winding down for him, that seems to happen with almost all of mine. Please include him in any extra thoughts and prayers...
BIG Hug to all that visit today! Extra thoughts and prayers today for Josie's crossing and Cleo's crossing leaving beans with lots of heartache. Please add Tarragon (Melissa) to that list while he heals and hopefully starts eating well again...our 'Okie kitties' are special!
