Hope you get some answers about the weight loss. That's scary. :bighug:
You can say that again. The vet said everything looks good he doesn't have any teeth problems blockages he's recovered from the impacted anal gland. And I just feel that this is a result of stopping the dry food. I'll have the blood panel work back tomorrow. In the meantime I have to feed him separate in my room I'm feeding him like every hour and a half a little bit at a time and I have to break some Temptations treats and mix it in with his wet

Wow, it's always something with our furbabies. Hopefully it is just the switch from dry to wet food and he won't lose any more weight.

I hope so too. But ya know what, she (the vet) made a comment that some cats are just dry food addicts and that there is dietitec dry food available..(sound familiar?) Lol. I made mention of Dr Lisa and she rolled her eyes so I didn't go any further realizing it would be moot. Now, being new at this whole thing, I am saddened by the lack of consideration of the possibility of validity regarding dr Lisa's findings..saddened bc I know it's a money thing. Sickening.
Now, I'm not saying that everything dr lisa says is gospel, but when the results are making a definite improvement, and a roll of eyes is ur response, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that it's the sale of the food that matters. Every time I sit in my vet's office, my heart cringes at the cases and bags of food that people take out of there that have been proven to be detrimental. Just sad

Totally agree. I've had animals on the "prescription" diets believing that was the best thing for them. Although I did have one vet at the same practice tell me she didn't believe in the prescription foods. I really liked her but she is hard to get an appt with and we have since switched to a different practice.
