Is Cobb looking to ditch some insulin???? Who knows... Of course he would do this right before we go out of town, right? Headed to my parents this weekend. Road trip for everyone!!

Matty is feeling much better this morning. Rough nights, but I think its because he's not eating that well so he's hungry. If only my child would listen to me when I say, "if you don't eat dinner, you're going to be hungry later on." Kids...

Anyway, I hope you have all had a good week. And check it out -- my condo is in before 9am!!! Woot!

Re: 10/9 Cobb AMPS 84

Cobb is looking excellent!

Do you think he could talk to Skooter?

I hope you enjoy your weekend with your 'rents!!!!

Re: 10/9 Cobb AMPS 84

Thanks Molly!

 I'll have Cobb send Skooter the memo. Cobb wasn't too good at taking advice until we switched to the Lev. ohmygod_smile He now sees the error of his ways.

Re: 10/9 Cobb AMPS 84 - timing question, again

So the daylight savings time post reminded me to ask...

I'll be at another out of town conference at the end of October (Wednesday night, all day Thursday, thru Friday afternoon). Matt will shoot Cobb in my absence but, as you know, he goes to work about 2.5 hours before Cobb's morning shot.

Do you think this shooting schedule will be okay?
Wednesday:
6pm (normal time)
Thursday:
Noon (18 hours later --> when Matt gets home from work)
Friday:
3:30am (15 hours after that shot)
6pm (14.5 hours after the morning shot)

The other option I thought of is to back up the shot by 30 minutes until I get back to 3:30am, although that will have me getting up for a few days at 4 and 5am.

One of the pros to the first option is that, given the time between shots, there's little chance Cobb will dip too low, so Matt won't have to make any dosing decisions at 3:30a when I'm asleep elsewhere.

I'd love your thoughts. This should be the last time I have to do this for awhile. I don't have any other conferences on the horizon.

Can't help with your questions, Suzanne. Thirty years of teaching high school kids sorta blew my mind, in oh-so-many ways! But I am loving Cobb's numbers. What a road you traveled. So glad you reached this destination!
