Checks ate well this morning. I'm trying once again, to stop the morning faucet drinking. He's making a habit of puking, after eating on top of drinking water.

Looks like I'm getting permission to go out for a while today.
I had planned to give a drop more juice, but discovered this morning, the meter used yesterday had a dying battery, so don't know if yesterday's yellow was meter wonkiness.
I'll see what today brings, before making a decision.

It is so hard to say "no" to the faucet drinking! My Petey does the same thing: drinks after eating, then "water barfs". But he sits in the sink looking SO pitiful that I can't bring myself to say "no". I always ask him that he refrain from water barfing if I let him drink :lol: ! Actually, one thing I have found that works is if I place him gently on the floor after drinking, rather than letting him jump down. That jump seems to jostle everything up, but if I am able to grab him before he jumps, we generally don't get a water barf. This also means I get to stand there and do nothing other than watch him for the entire time he drinks...

Okay Checkers.
Time to slide down.

I can't get shadow interested in running water. Guess I should try the fountain again. She didn't care for it.
But if I'm taking a bath, she loves drinking warm sudsy water from my hand. weirdo!

Come on down Checkers. Sorry to hear the water barfing is still going on, my GA cleo used to love the faucet, but Tess is afraid of her water fountain!

Sorry I have been so absent, but between the computer issues, DM and now Tess UTI , I have been swamped. :?

Oh my Checkers, this morning pukus has to stop! Drinking until you puke is not good. Maybe we need to find a Faucet Drinkers Anonymous meeting for you. ;-)
These flat yellows may hint at action to come. :cool:

I hope you can get Checkers to stop the faucet drinking so he'll quit with the pukus. Poor kitty. I hope he slides into some blue for you soon.

Holy Cow. I had an informative day. The lowest price I could find for Levemir was $216, and that is 45 minute drive.
If I were to be dumb enough to let it run out, I'd not be able to get to it in winter snow. It's a winding, hilly road.

I'm paying $232 now. One pharmacy quoted $254!

Speaking of that road, I saw a BALD EAGLE, coming up over my car. It was dining on roadkill. It flew straight up over in front of my car.
My heart was pounding so hard. I couldn't even stop and pull over, to watch it, as there was a car *&^$%-ing tailgating me, on this winding hill.

Oh yeah, the cat.*grin*.....I gave him a couple extra drops tonight, bringing him back to .5.
My gut is telling me this isn't bouncing, or toasted insulin.

I just lost my post, so I'll just say Hi. And what an experience you had seeing that Bald Eagle so close up. Too bad that you had an idiot tailgaiter!

Hope you find a solution to the water barfs!!

Hi Barb, poor Checkers with the faucet drinking and faucet drinking. Cool with the Bald Eagle. Mags and Checks had about the same PMPS tonight. I looked in two stores today and could not find the Tux Beechbut Ham bf - was it a Stage 2 food jar - teeny jar?

About the barf after drinking excessive water, I place water bowl everywhere in the house so that they can drink wherever they want. Used to have a water fountain, but Ive disposed it after they were tired to the drinking from it. Another thing about water fountain is; I cannot change the water as frequent as water bowl.
Stepping stool are placed around my home becos my gang is getting old & I dont want them to jump from a height.
