We are so incredibly saddened today by the passing of our dear friend, Zener. Anne, Liz, Zener, and Tillie all showed (and continue) to show us the truest meaning of love, commitment, and selflessness...a truly inspirational family. Our prayers are with Anne, Liz, and Tillie as they mourn the passing of their sweet boy. His presence, spirit, and heart will forever be felt here in LantusLand.
I don't know what's up with Trix's higher "PS" numbers lately, but Ms P does make it know that she is on the job. We take her for a BP re-check this evening; 2 months ago, her BP was running too low so we halved her dose. Last month she was on the border of being too low (taking white coat syndrome into account), so vetty wanted to continue with the same dose and recheck sooner than we normally would....so that is tonight. No other tests for Trix, fortunately.
We had a perfect gelcap morning, and apparently I picked THE best can of Fancy Feast ever, because she really went to town!
Everything went smoothly with my Dad's chemo yesterday. His pre-infusion BW showed all of his values (tumor markers aside) - which were strong to begin with - had actually even improved. He had the best hemoglobin that he's had since before all this started. My Mom and I went shopping again during the infusion - just Sam's Club and Target for nothing very fun (other than fuzzy socks for me and "sensible shoes" for her), but we packed the trunk and overflowed into the back seat. My Dad said we're not allowed to go to his treatments anymore  ! Next time, we're going to Kohl's!
Gotta get moving....have a great day, LantusLand. Endless hugs to Liz, Anne, and Tillie....
