Wow! What a surprise from Tip while I'm getting ready for one of my classes. I'm glad my grandpa retested before sending me the text, usually I don't check my phone right before class so I wouldn't have seen it until an hour later. Debating on if I want to ask him to test in an hour(for a +8) or not, just to see if she's going to continue dropping.
I also just realized she was supposed to have been due for a dose increase this morning.
So even though she had a drop today to the blues, should I increase tonight given she's been primarily in the pinks and yellows? Or wait and see?
I DID do something different, usually as I'm preparing the insulin, she's eating and by the time I'm done, she's taking her mid-meal break and I give insulin then. But lately I've been lagging behind and being about 30mins late to her shot(can I blame the impending cold weather?) just about every day. So today, not being happy with how late I've been, I decided to test, then shoot, then feed and that got me back on schedule, but I'm wondering if that's why she got to the blues today.
