Good morning,
Sister is still under the weather (symptoms began 10/3).
Sometimes vomiting mucus; other times food comes with it.
But appy is fine. Wants to eat again soon after vomiting.
Antibiotic on 10/6. Also getting a probiotic (occasional diarrhea, not consistently).
Giving Cerenia starting this morning.

What tests were run to get the cause? Sure hope she starts to feel better today.

What tests were run to get the cause? Sure hope she starts to feel better today.

No tests. Even the thermometer malfunctioned (no battery).
Vet noted that complete bloodwork and urinalysis including physical exam had been accomplished very recently.
So we left with no diagnosis. That often happens with my cats.
We think that lots of A, some B, with touches of C and D should equal E, the diagnosis. But it does not.
So we treat symptoms. They want to see her back in 10-14 days to reevaluate.
Like my dad often says, "Doctors are just practicing."

I hope she feels better soon! Which antibiotic is she getting?

She got the much debated Convenia injection. (I suck at giving meds.)
She got one in early June for URI and a draining ear infection and it worked great. No complications. No concerns.
