I thought the meter was broken when I did the AMPS test, yikes! But no, it turned out that it was just that the +11 reading and the AMPS were exactly the same! Talk about a surf! Of course with 20% meter variance it`s pretty random, but still. Kinda cool :-D

It's making me a little nervous, this yellow AMPS. He ran outside this morning before I woke up, totally out of character for the moment, and I heard him throw up. :cry:

Eating-wise he is on and off depending on how upset his stomach is I guess. He licks his lips and wants to eat but can't. He is looking skinny.

Today I will round up a new anti biotic, and hope it solves this.


Ongoing Medications:
**Potencil 50mg bid (need to switch antibiotics)
Pepcid 2.5mgbid

** reduced for 5 days than suspended for 48 hours to see if he still needed it; restarted 4 days ago: 8 doses again so far

miralax - none yesterday)

Oh, poor Reuben! Urfs first thing in the morning. Hopefully whatever was bothering him is no more and he settles back down into nice blues and greens. Sometimes the meter does that to me too and I wonder, hmmmm, is it stuck? :-D I just got a scale to start weighing Leo and his sister - it's so hard to tell if they look skinny, are skinny, or just need to preen a while for the fluff to get back to it's best form. I hope he feels better today.

I know the oddness of seeing the same number. We do that alot.
I hope you were able to secure some new meds today.
We all want Reuben to feel better.

Hi Alexa,

I'm sorry Reuben didn't feel good this morning. I hope he's feeling better now. Has he been to the doctor lately? Maybe there's a different med they could give him for his stomach?

That happens to us a lot too with the same number from one test to another. It's really freaky. I'll also get a pmps, a different amps and then the same number for a +3 as the previous pmps. Weird way to surf that's all.
