Nothing new going on here. Gizmo's still being a stubborn old cat. Although his behavior doesn't really match these higher numbers. I remember a few posts indicating that the alphatrack meter read higher and/or inconsistent numbers when the battery was getting low. Not sure how long the battery typically lasts but we haven't ever changed it. So I think I'm going to get a +3 and then change the battery and check again just to compare. I know I'm grasping at straws here, but figured it was worth a chance.

Good idea on the battery. Not sure how long they last. We've used the same meter with same battery since May and it still works.

Glad to hear he's not acting like his numbers, there have been times for me too when I wondered if I gave Mav his shot properly, or maybe I didn't have enough of a drop of blood. It just didn't make sense to me that he was playful, and goofy! Gizmo will get back to those nice lower numbers soon, hang in there. Hope the dosecrease will kick in for the next cycle.

+3 = 323; recheck with new battery = 332 (so ruled out the battery)
+5.75 = 323

I wonder if flat pink means the same thing as flat yellow? Maybe! We are trying a different brand of pumpkin also. We noticed the consistency of the current brand has changed. So maybe that has something to do with the higher numbers as well. Or it could be that the acro tumor is active right now.
