Good Morning, Lantus Land Neighbors!

We're sending out lots of healing vines and hugs to the kitties and beans who need them today. We're thinking especially of Liz, Anne and Tillie on their loss of Zener yesterday.

Yesterday's Blue Blue Condo

Today's News:

AMPS 334
+3 385
+5 260
+12 349

No PMPS (missed) (Shot at 7:45 instead of 6:00)
+3 280 (10:45)
+4 282
+5 288

Later: We shot 1.75 hrs. late tonight and will make up time over the next few days, 1/2 hr. each day, to get back on track. We don't have much experience with this so we'll monitor her as we normally do, just 1.75 hrs. later for each test.

Clare was all 5's on her WCR this morning. Just before bed last night she'd caught a mouse and let me trade it for a couple of her chicken breast treats. She seemed especially perky this morning (or is it that we're dragging a bit? @-) ) so we wondered what her AMPS would be.

The higher carb food early on seems to be helping to flatten out her cycles. Maybe she's feeling better because she's not bouncing so much? confused_cat I know I am!

Have a great day, Everyone!

Re: 10/8 Clare AMPS 334

I've heard people say that having their blood sugar zoom up and down feels horrid - I imagine it must be similar for a cat.

You're doing a great job of smoothing out the drops after preshot - nice surf last night!

Thanks, Julie,

I hope Clare will continue the smoother cycle tonight. It would be great to have one cycle that looks like another for a change! And it would be great to help Clare have more times where she feels good. She's such a trouper!

Have a good evening,

Georgette

I hope Clare gives you a smoother cycle tonight. I'm surprised she traded the mouse for the chicken treats.

Hi Carla,

Thanks for visiting!

Before this, Clare ate the last two mice that she caught; I think that's been a sign of her not feeling so well. When she gave up her mouse this time she was really being like her old self, not quite so worried about protecting her food.

Have a good night, the Hunter's Moon!
