? 10/8 Chispa, unusually low preshot (124), 173 +1, 137 +2, 65 +3.5, 47 +4, 73 +5.25

You should have put the PMBG or +12 in the subject line. I opened up the spreadsheet expecting to see a nice solid green PMPS. Not 124. As long as you can monitor some tonight, have HC food and plenty of test strips - SHOOOOOOT. If worried, you can test again 15 minutes after the first to see how she's trending.

Have you fed yet? If not grab another test in 10-15 minutes. How late can you stay up? How’s the appetite?
Thanks, Elise! It's been so long since I've seen a low preshot that I had forgotten about testing again in a few minutes. Sure enough, she went from 124 to 147 in 30 minutes. Her appetite hasn't been very good today, but she loves the MC, so that's my backup. Looks like it'll be a pajama party on the sofa tonight.

Thanks, Wendy -- I need to redevelop my nerves of steel. 124 was so out of character that I couldn't believe my eyes, much less imagine proceeding as normal. But I did shoot, and I'll just keep testing as long as I have to. We'll see what she has up her sleeve!

Hi Karen! At least she's not going down yet. I hope she slides down slowly and nicely tonight :bighug:
Thanks, Cecile - my thoughts exactly, but we spoke too soon! What goes up must come down — hopefully not too far. I am hunkering down on the couch for a hour before testing again. Pajama party tonight!

I won’t be able to stay up with you but I hope she calms down not too late. Does she cuddle with you?
3:30 am and I’m heading off to sleep in my own bed after a series of naps on the couch. She doesn’t cuddle with me like she used to, preferring to sleep on the rug in front of the couch, but it’s nice that she’s within arm’s reach when I have to stay here for testing.:):cat:

Thanks, Staci -- I know you've endured many a night on the couch too. What wouldn't we do for our fur babies?
Wishing you and Ivy a peaceful, easy day today!:bighug::cat::bighug:
