Good afternoon LL,

My heart is with Anne and Liz today after the loss of their sweet boy Zener. It won't be the same around here without him. :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

Angie is doing ok. Yesterday she was feeling great and was a bit more active. I thought she was anxious in the morning and suspected a bounce might be coming. I didn't see her zooming or jumping but she must have - because she's hurt her back again. She keeps doing it! Every time I nurse her through an illness, she starts jumping, climbing and zooming again and has ended up with too many injuries. Slow down kitty cat - you're 18 next month, your wrists are weak and your balance isn't what it used to be! Stop hurting yourself.

Do injuries cause higher numbers? Could that have contributed to her bounce yesterday? We're having a high, flat morning but looking at other's spreadsheets that seems normal after a bounce.

Yestday's condo is here.

I'm so sorry Angie hurt herself. It's hard when they get older. Pain can cause BGs to go higher. I hope she gets better soon.

Thanks Carla - she was never a bouncy cat before so maybe the injury increased her numbers. We'll find out if she bounces again or not.

Angie won't eat her third dinner tonight. I'm worried about her because it's really not like her. She didn't go off her food with a broken sternum. She's so into food she'll eat vegetables dropped on the floor. I used to pill her by offering her the pill and she'd eat it! (That all changed with Capstar - tastes so bad it made her foam at the mouth - now she's the hardest cat I've ever had to pill - her tongue is that fast.) One way I knew how upset she was about Jetzin passing is that she left crumbs of food in her bowl and on the floor. She used to polish both their bowls and the floor after each meal.

I offered her some fresh lamb meat and she even turned her nose up at that. I know it's only one meal. After watching Jetzin die from FIP, I'm scared by any symptoms that were similar to his.

aw, shoot. sending better appy vines to miss angie.

could she be hurting from falling? pain can drive up BGs and i would think it could also make her not want to eat much.

Thank you for thinking of us, Grace. We surely appreciate our LantusLand family and all the support. We couldn't have done the FD dance without everyone here and we couldn't get through this either. Hugs to you, Grace. And sending mega appy vines to Angie. Listen to her bean, you're an old lady and need to be a little careful. :YMHUG:
