I was out (!) so Hubby did last nite's shot...makes me wonder if it was a fur shot. This is his highest reading yet! I had really hoped that all wet food would improve his numbers, but it doesn't seen like it helped one bit! Hopefully I can get around to updating his ss today...it's supposed to be warm and sunny, though, so sitting at the computer isn't high on my list of things to do!
 
I'm pretty sure it was a fur shot- cuz there is no way for him to get forbidden food! All our food is in locked cupboards, and he and his civie sister live seperately, so he couldn't have gotten to her food, either. I HOPE it was a fur shot, anyway!

That +5 is an ok drop. It's probably time to up his dose again, it looks like you've held this one for 5 days or so?

How long has he been on all wet food now? Sorry, I wasn't around much when you first came on so I'm not familiar with his history.

the +5 was a half hour after he ate half a can of friskies. He hasn't had any kibbles since Monday (?). Lori is sending me some u-100 syringes so we can do more precise increases. I can just eyeball tiny increases until then. I think you recommended increasing by .2u? In a u-40 needle, I'd call that about 2 and a smidge, I guess!
I'll get a +7, too.

Looks like we are back on the rise. Lucky Charlie won't need any more pokes till pmps. He is glad!
 
Until you get the U100 syringes you can eyeball a .25 increase in the U40.

Try to imagine where half way between 2 and 2.5 would be. You can practice with an empty syringe to get the hang of it.

His numbers are high enough to handle a .25 increase.

I noticed today's +8 was essentially the same number as his PS so that tells you the duration is less than +8.
It looks like maybe the nadir is probably at +3, +4, or +5. Remember, early on in the dose quest, nadir tends to occur earlier.

Since he's back up to PS levels at +8, and you've tried this dose 3 days, I agree that it is time for a .25 bump.

You might want to get a +4, +5 , and +6? If +5 is higher than the first, stop testing because your past nadir.
Or if you just get 1 test, lets see a +5.
