Ok, so I think we got a bad vial of Lantus. His numbers have stunk for the most part since the switch on Sunday. Called CVS and they are replacing it for me with a new vial - very nice of them Hopefully we will see those better numbers he had from last week. The girl at the pharmacy manhandled the Lantus when I went to pick it up and it shook around a bit and was turned upside down around and everything angry(2)_cat . I think it either was a bad vial or was damaged. Wish us luck - new vial will be used for PMPS shot :smile:

My boy is doing good otherwise, happy and looking good.

Good luck with the new vial....hope it brings lots of nice numbers for Napoleon....
Have you ever looked into the cartridges? Others might have some ideas on the best place to get them from.
(we use Levemir and I order from Canada...we get the flex pens...love em!)

Thanks Pat! I was actually going to ask for the cartridges for our next prescription. Have to get a new one from the vet - our 3 refills are up. They would definitely be more economical.

Damn! I was feeding my civvie hc fancy feast cause that is all she will eat sometimes. I thought the door was shut all the way - don't you know Napoleon got in there and got to some of it. Not much, but a little. Hope his numbers aren't crap tonight. I think it is hc - Fancy Feast Chunky Chicken Feast.
