I forgot to post her evening preshot last night and I forgot to write it down, so I put 340 on her ss, she was somewhere around there.

Should we be considering another increase?

Good morning April! No advice, just have a good day. I hope Miss Kitty starts coming down for you.

Hi guys .. ugh .. sorry to see miss kitty up on the red floor this morning .. at least she's close enough to see pink! I wish I could help you with the dosing question, just don't feel comfortable doing that .. hope you guys have a great weekend!

HI April,

Someone more experienced may see something else....but the thing making it hard for me to make a recommendation is not feeling really good about knowing what's going on between AMPS AND PMPS at this dose. It makes it hard to tell if there's a lot of bouncing going on...or if the pinks are true. My gut says she probably needs more insulin....but I just can't say that without more info.

Do you have the time to run a curve or two this weekend?

AT the least, hopefully this is a bump up for more experienced eyes!

That sounds like a good idea. I can do a good curve on her this weekend. Thanks

I agree with Jessica. Miss Kitty could be coming down lower at night and then having these long bounces. She did well on the 1.75u before but that may not mean alot now. However, if you keep increasing without having the full picture, you could get into an overdose. Quite often on an overdose, the numbers will be high until she hits a breakthrough...too much insulin can look like too little insulin.

Glad you can do the curve and see what's going on.

A curve or at least some spot checks over the weekend will help to sort things out.

BTW, do you know whether your meter stores test data? If you don't have the manual for the meter, it's likely to be on-line. Chances are that your meter stores your test data. It's possible that you can get last night's test off of the meter.
