10/7 LOOSE LIPS: into Fall with cheery cherry Monday!

Good Morning LL!! (Elsa - lots (!!) please! This bean is so sleepy...), and Happy Cheery Cherry Monday everyone!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is CHEERY CHERRY MONDAY!! Lola and Bug want to make their cheery cherry pizza pies. It is after all Monday, and that is now tradition! I have to admit that they are pretty good! so. well. anyways. Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a VENTI Quad cherry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cherry whip garnished with candied cherry sprinkles and white chocolate curls. SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of cheery cherry and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized cheery cherries and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride! AND!!!! The CHEERY CHERRY CHEESECAKE has been so popular that it is now part of the cheery cherry Monday line-up! YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! I love cheery cherry Mondays.

I hope everyone had a great weekend, and a good Sunday yesterday. It has been a mellow weekend here. Weather has been wonderful! 60 on Caturday, 65 on Sunday, and sunny! A perfect Fall day(s). I had hoped to go hiking on Sunday, but obligations, and family visits kept me home. It's OK, I can go next weekend. Besides: it was GREAT to Have most of us all together. I hiked the local trails here near home on both days. The trail systems through Meadowdale really are very nice, with such a variety of things too see: creeks, woods, mountains, the sound, and the beach. Meadowdale looks out over Puget Sound, to the San Juan Islands, and the Olympic Mountain Range beyond that. On sunny days like this weekend, it is such a great place to go, experience all, and relax. So I did. Like any other trip there my camera came with me.... :roll: so here you go: More Meadowdale.

Sorry - to have missed alot of you yesterday, and for not really making it back online here. Family was by.... and I had to visit! let's see... My youngest DS, and his girlfriend, my DD, DSIL, and Nicholas and William. Good times!!

Normalcy in MusketeerVille! Despite my overall fatigue yesterday, I did get alot done, vacuuming included (SO NEEDED!!). Lola once again helped me clean. silly cat. She chases that vacuum from one room to the other, batting at the cord, attacking the vacuum as it goes by, carefully inspecting the hose and attachment when I use that from a close enough distance . Lola, best be creful with that - I may decide to vacuum your fur, since we all know hoe much you hate brushing.... Maybe this is the way to go for you: vacuum the kitty! :lol: :lol: :lol: Bug stuck arund for a bit to see the evil vacuum monster... That was a first for him, as he usually runs. Not yesterday. He watched from a distance until it got too close to his bed. Off he went then. I could see him peeking around teh corner, maybe to amke sure I hadn't attacked his bed, that all was well in SnoozeVille. :lol: :lol: No worries Bug, your bed is safe. The weather was so nice yesterday that Elsa elected to spend most of it outdoors. it was really nice to see her sunning herself on the grass. She still follows Mannie's route, but has yet to take over his perch in the ground cover. Maybe she has decided that that spot needs to remain Mannie's throne. I can still see him sitting there surveying all that was NannerVille, small suburb of MannieLand. ;-) Lola actually was a very good kitty yesterday, or maybe I have just gotten used to all her craziness.... probably the later. :roll: :lol: We still had marathons, and window sill leaping, and sniffs through the screens, and shower door pounding, and frig door riding, and papa er bag destruction and box chewing, and attempts at escape to the great outdoors, and.... and... and... what did I forget? :lol: :lol: :lol: YUPP! Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Nicholas and William are with me again today, all five days this week. :shock: @-) I-) With the weather being questionable this morning, I'm not too sure what we will fill the morning hours with. I so hope to find a semi-dry place for an adventure today. I have the feeling we will need a dry indoor place... I will try and get to condos when I can.

Sounds like a lovely weekend, Michelle! I love how Elsa follows Mannie's route, but honors his very favorite spot by letting that be his and his alone. Kitties are just so special.

Morning Melissa THX, it was nice. I enjoyed it: recover time from the week, and time to get out some too. THX on the boys all week. two more weeks to go of the five days. me too on the weather. It looks like we may get a two/three hour window this morning. YAY!

Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one, good things happening. We did well here today, dodging nasty weather, and still making it outdoors for some fun for the boys. For a while there I wasn't too sure how kind the weather would be to us. Weather has been such a mixed bag here - a little of everything from one or two sun rays to massive downpours... crAzy stuff going on out there. We got lucky, took advantage of a weather break, and headed on out. We ended up at the sammamish river at bothell landing park. It is always a good choice - it has about everything Nicholas could want to do, from ducks to a playground to a spot where he can wade and stomp and toss rocks in the river, which he did alot of.... The ducks were out in mass today. What fun that was for him. He spent time chasing them in the grassy section by the playground, and then at the section we hang out near the bridge. That was funny - he started to try and touch them, which ended up in a chase, which ended up in the ducks flying into the river, which prompted his telling them, several times: "no ducks! Stop! not the river! PLEASE?!" oh hahaha. William was interesting - awake the whole time, no rest for grammie today. :lol: He seems to like the water too. What kid doesn't I guess. All in all, a very nice day for the boys. Clouds have just broken up some, the sun is out a little, it ought to be a really great sunset tonight. I am looking forward to that. I will post the Picassa link to today in tomorrow's condo. Have a great night everyone!

Hi Michelle,
So nice that you had a good weekend with your family get-together and your chores. And it was great to get in your hike to Meadowdale.
Elsa is a wonderful kitty to remember Mannie and at the same time to honor his special spot. She is also a terrific Kitteh Barista. We needed that this morning!

They make kitty vacuums, you know? Maybe Lola would like to try one out?? :lol:

Glad that you were able to get to a river today and that the weather wasn't too bad. Both boys are now official "River Rats".

Hi Jane LOL, and yes, ALWAYS with a plan, a rain one, and a sun one.... :lol: :lol: I've learned too that these boys really don't mind the wet, or the mud, or... anything outdoors. They thrive on it. So off we go, rain or shine. Though I will admit that with monsoons, we will find an indoor place, indoors, but out of the house. ;-) THX on the weekend. I really did have a nice one.

Hi Ella - that they are! Two river rats now. :lol: :lol: It will be fun when William is more mobile and Nicholas can really show him the ropes. We did manage to dodge the rain, a relief, though we probably would have gone anyways - I'm getting good at keeping the sorta dry when wet is the norm outdoors. THX too on the weekend - it was low key, and for once that was really enjoyable. It was great to have the fmaily together: controlled chaos, but it was fun. LOL on that kitty vacuum - I so need one of those. Then she can clean up her own cat fur... which is everywhere...
