It's a pink sunrise in Zener's domain :sad: but he is eating heartily and eating 8% carbs we mix up from a combination of 5% and 11%. :-D

It's a cold windy day here in the mountains. The kitties are NOT interested in prowling in the yard this morning. Zener is snuggled down in his favorite pillow (it's lavendar and shaped like a flat cat, we call "lovey lavey") and says he won't come out again until the temps get back in the 60s, or until his winter coat grows in, whichever comes first! :lol:

Hi guys .. bum deal on this morning's pinks but looks like he is quickly heading to the yellow floor .. nice job zener! I don't blame you for laying on lovely lavey until its warmed up a bit :-D Have a great day guys!

Thanks Devon! We have paws crossed Zener clears this bounce by the weekend, when we may try a fattening of his dose, if he keeps eating the 8% carb mix consistently. But then, we are still delusional thinking we can plan ahead for anything with FD! :lol: :lol: :lol: He has now shifted positions to his favorite chair, the one we have a heating pad in for the kitties! :-D

He's edging down.....and now you need patience pants with lining since it's cold!!! Come on down Zener and kick that bounce in the patience pants.

Trust the kitties to find the warmest place. Sometimes I break out the heating pad for my back. If I leave it unguarded for a moment, Weezer moves in!

:lol: :lol: :lol: That is a cute picture! He might be listening as he is in the mid yellows at +10. Sometimes when he breaks a bounce, he just slides down all day. So far, that's what he's doing (anti-jinx).

Zener has been sliding to a flat yellow this afternoon. So, it's a better cycle than the pinkies. Looks like this bounce will be a gradual slide downward, unless Zener decides to surprise us!

@Marje - we are wearing our fleece lined patience pants tonight! There is a nice white covering several inches deep all over the mountains, and hard freeze forecast in town tonight! :shock:

@Linda - those rascal kitties, stealing their bean's medicinal heating pad! We used to have a heating pad for our use, but over time the kitties have gradually taken them over, and then we had to buy more so that both kitties had their own! :lol:

Kitties gotta keep warm no matter what! Rusty has a cat perch right over the radiator (of course, it doesn't work when the heat isn't on, but it does get lots of heat from the sun, if the sun is out).

Nice to see Zener out of the pinks. Those gradual descents are gratifying to watch.

Starting what looks like cycle 4 of a bounce after a beautiful run of blues on this dose. We are donning our patience pants with fleece liners since we have snow on the peaks and forecast lows tonight in the 20s! So much for autumn in the mountains. :roll:

We are starting to think about a dosecrease after this bounce breaks, and when we do that, Zener usually comes down. Paws crossed!

Both kitties spent quite a little while in the backyard tonight even though it was pretty chilly. A neighbor's kitty was in Zener's backyard! I clapped my hands and the neighbor kitty climbed up over the wooden fence. Zener kept running at full tilt toward the last spot neighbor kitty was before going over the fence, hind end swaying in his CH way, and tail at full sail. It was so great to see him on the chase!

I have a few things to do in the morning and plan to get to the gym after lunch, then I get to work from home the rest of the day, so I'll be around if he decides to bust this bounce in spectacular fashion. ;-)
