Regarding to Monkey, today Monkey AMPS is 142, a record low. It made me think how would at +0.25 dose can have such large effect. To prevent hypoglycemia, I give 2.5 dose. At PMPS I give 2.75 since his BG was 259. Is that the correct practice?

Anyway, yes, 0.25U can have that kind of effect, that's why we change doses in such tiny increments. It really does matter in a cat's tiny body!

It's better to keep a consistent dose with Lantus, it's OK since this was an unusual low for Monkey at pre-shot, but next time think about shooting the full dose. You did shoot the regular dose the other day (June 4 PM) with a 149 pre-shot, this wasn't all that different .

The temporary reduction also re-sets the cycle count on the 2.75U dose. Tonight's dose will officially be Cycle 1.

Monkey did great today, nice to see him hitting green again!
