last night's preshot was 292. a person could go mental over these numbers. why 100 pts more this morning I wonder.

I could make myself go bonkers trying to figure out Teasel's numbers so now I just say to myself, "They are what they are". All we can control is their food and insulin dose. The rest is up to their physiology. As Sue (@Sue and Oliver (GA) often says, you're gathering data. :)
 
When you can, get some midcycle numbers to see how low (or not) the 3 units take him. If there are some lower numbers scattered around in the day and night cycle, you'll be more encouraged. And you are seeing more yellow preshots - this is a good thing!

I plan to get s couple of readings mid to late cycle.

Does anyone else feel bad like me for sticking kitty's ears so much?
 
But that's a nice yellow and lower than yesterday's mid cycle number. I'm encouraged by the yellows and even some of the pinks are in lower ranges.

Where are those patience pants?:D
