Good morning LL!

Tarragon is doing ok today. I'm a little nervous about the AMPS since he is not eating great. nailbite_smile Luckily I am home with him again today. He is still getting used to the cone and having to reroute himself a lot. No more sneaking in between furniture, etc. He also isn't wanting to jump up on anything and that's good since he is still seeping. I'm just following him around with a wet rag. The AB went well this morning and in sure I got it all in this time with none on me. Yay! Turnup is still hissing at him but has just stayed up high since there appears to be a Martian on the ground. Tarragon is full of headbutts for Charlie, me and every wall he can find. He did poop a little last night and has tried a couple of times this morning with no luck. I am heading out to Walgreens now to pick up some miralmax.

Charlie is obviously feeling neglected. Last night he raised his back leg and started hopping like he was hurt. Of course he messed up and changed legs on me and then ran when I got out cheese. Buggar.

Wonderful amps this AM, and can understand your concern when appy is borderline. I hope he can eat better. Been though so many cones her with cats. it is so hard for them to try and be normal wit that thing. I wonder: any way of taking if off for food times? Back on when done? Maybe it's just that he doesn't feel normal yet... Nice though that you were able to get all the AB's in him. Good boy Tarragon.

one has to love the antics of the others. Poor Turnup, a foreigner is in her midst. Too funny on Charlie. I had cat ocne that did that. anytime he wanted attention he would fake an injury, usually with a leg: limping, dragging a paw, whatever he could come up with. And then he'd forget, run around like normal, realize he'd messed up, back to the injury. :lol: :lol: One has gotta love it. Extra pets for Charlie from us.

Continued healing vines for Tarragon from us. It will get better as the day progresses.

Morning Melissa and good update on Tarragon. I had to laugh with Turnup staying up high because of the Martian on the ground. :-D Glad the AB's went in okay. Wow, those are some nice greens and hope he starts eating okay. Does he like FF T&G? It's a hit with Maggie and Rusty and acts like a mc though for Mags. Awww on Charlie with limping on the wrong leg to get attention! :-D Have a nice day and healing vines and scritches to Tarragon and also scritchies to Charlie and Turnup. Hugs

Everyone says that labs are smart dogs. :lol: :lol: Did Charlie get the vetty smell off of Tarragon when he got home? More healing vines for Mr. T and calming vines for Turnup. I'm so glad you can be with him while he heals.

Hi guys .. I'm glad to hear tarragon is doing ok after what he's been through .. sounds like your house has a lot going on .. poor furbabies! They just want it to be back to normal I'm sure .. numbers look good, I hope that LB action takes place without any problems .. have a great weekend guys!

Healing vines to Sweet T. Considering what's been coming down the runways at fashion week in Paris I think cone necklaces might be the next big thing. Tarragon- fashion forward kitty!

Sending tons of healing vines for Mr. T. :YMHUG: I'm glad that he's starting to feel a bit more like his little self. I hope that he eats better for you today. It could be that he's in a bit of discomfort that he's not eating. I'm sure it's a tad embarrassing for him when he needs to wear that cone. :lol: All in all, though, I do hope that he eats more today.

So sorry to hear about Tarragon's vetty visit yesterday, and we'll send him some healing vines to get better soon. I'm sure he's more than happy to have you home with him today, poor guy.

Funny on Turnup and even funnier about Charlie :lol:

Glad that Tarragon is recovering nicely, and what a pretty green start!
Can be the AB & the cone affecting his appy.
Last time when 2 of my cats got the ruptured anal glands removed, vet adviced me to have them wear the cone but this never work out in Tortieland. Both of them never wore the cone , Copy even removed 2 stitches a day after the surgery. Don't worry, Melissa. I'm sure Tarragon will be fine. If the cone is too uncomfortable for him, you can take it off when you are there to watch over him. Then, at least he'll have a moment of relieve. Just make sure he doesn't lick the wound.

We're so glad to hear that Terragon is feeling better and with a nice green AMPS. But having to wear the Cone of Shame ... that's hard on a kitty - can't run behind the couch or between the chairs, hard to jump without whacking into something. When Leo had his on, I felt so bad (at the same time I was laughing) because he kept trying to run to his safe spot under the bed and getting slammed to a stop with the cone (he had to wear the hard one). Here's hoping to a nice relaxing day and a great weekend!

I'm glad Tarragon is doing better this morning. I hope his appy picks up. I will be praying for a quick recovery. So funny with Turnup and Charlie.

Hi Melissa,

It sounds like Tarragon is doing as well as can be expected after such a terrible day yesterday. Those cones are such a drag, no wonder he's not eating well. I always had to take it off to let my cats eat. They would never eat with it. He's actually doing pretty well if he's eating at all with it. He must be so uncomfortable between the cone and the leaking, poor baby. I hope the miralax helps him with the poo & he gets used to the cone and starts feeling better.

That's so funny thinking Turnup thinks he's a Martian. :razz: And poor Charlie faking being hurt. They're so funny! We'll just have to clone you Melissa. :lol:

Try to keep your sense of humor. During times like this it will save you. Hugs!

Melissa, Glad Tarragon is doing better after such an awful day yesterday. I hope his appy picks up soon, maybe briefly removing the cone or spoon feeding him would help? Sounds like Charlie and Turnup are adding their share to the drama, never a dull moment! :YMHUG: Hugs and have a great evening.

It is so bad when they are ill or hurting.. You just dont know what to do for them..

Hi Melissa,

I am so happy to read your condo this evening and see that Tarragon is doing as well as he is. I'm sure he's uncomfortable, but every day he will improve and soon it will all be past history. Turnup and Charlie are too much. Maybe they are trying to keep T. amused?

We continue to send healing vines and are thinking of you.

The best part of the low numbers is he is having them.

Glad to hear Tarragon is feeling a bit better and has beautiful numbers to boot :mrgreen: Sending a few more vines to help him get closer to feeling 100%.
