I was hoping that Pumbaa would hit blue since he started the morning at 273, but he hit a pink at +9 instead. For the last two days, Pumbaa has gone up for his AM +9 reading, then dropped again for the PMPS. That's interesting.

He did go down to 221 at PM +6, which I was happy to see, but, unfortunately, started the morning of 10/6 at 330.

Patience, patience, patience. I'm still counting my blessings that he hasn't gone up to red or black numbers (insert anti-jinx), and that he doesn't stop eating/flounce away when the insulin is injected, and at how much easier the Levemir is to draw into the syringe. (Compared to the Levemir, drawing Lantus was like drawing jello into a syringe. *LOL*)

Have great Saturdays, everyone!

He's still really flat. Even though you are seeing two colors, his numbers are hardly varying. I would suspect that the rise and then fall yesterday was more food related than caused by dose.

I would go to 1.5u tomorrow morning.

Sheila, you read my mind about raising Pumbaa before 6 full cycles. It appears that he does need the boost to get him down below that 250 point.

At least his ketones were negative, still, this morning. :)

Sheri: Thank you...I agree!

Question for you...why did you increase from 1.75U to 2.5U so quickly, instead of letting Dante settle into his dose? Just curious.
