Evening LL! It's DH's birthday today & he is off from work! Moonie & I enjoyed the day with him, & we all joined her for an afternoon nap--SHE WAS ELATED!! All her beans keeping her company at once :lol: :lol: :lol: She was so funny!!
Moonie is doing well, last night she was high also, PMPS 148
+4~172
Seems like her BG's are Out of wack!!! Started a new pen yesterday and gave her a drop more insulin today-so she has been dropping some today--The Hyper t meds surely are upping her bg's some..
after the weekend I will put a Real drop on her dose...Dont think the Adequan helped her much--waiting to see...
WE have an Irish Fair tomorrow, and Big crafts fair on Sunday in Sea Cliff (a really nice town here)--
RAIN IS PREDICTED 30% tomorrow & 70% Sunday--This will ruin our year this year as the Sunday fair is one of our Biggest nailbite_smile nailbite_smile nailbite_smile I bought shower curtains to put around our tent
(kinda making a tent condom :lol: :lol: :lol: ) Will it work??? Not if it's windy too :o :o :o

Oh well we will hope for the Best & Pray a Lot!
As Long as Moonie is alright, that's all I care about & Of course DH--Going out to Dinner--Gotta Celebrate All things-- Prayers for Tarragon, Rocket & all ailing Kitties--

Happy birthday to DH...it sounds like you all had a wonderful celebration!

Mario never really gained the weight back. At this point, I'm happy that he's maintaining, although he's a little underweight. But, we've also had to adjust his dose quite a bit....we'd get him regulated, go back in 4 or so months for a recheck, then have to increase again. He does eat a fair amount, but just doesn't gain. But, he's also almost 18, and on a few other meds...I don't know if he'll ever gain anything back.

Hoping the new pen and extra drop will help to stabalize Moonie's numbers. Sending lot's of sunshine your way in hopes that you will have good weather for the fair!

Happy Birthday, Brad!! A nice birthday dinner out sounds grand!

Good luck with the dosecrease and with the fuds. Roni, I think it will take a while to get Moonie settled in with regard to balancing her thyroid meds with her insulin with her food. You'll just have to experiment until you find the right balance.

I hope that your weather forecast is wrong and that you'll have more sunshine than rain this weekend for the big fair in Sea Cliff. The shower curtains sound like a delightful idea: you can make them into a tent. We are expecting rain tomorrow and Sunday, too, but are hoping that Columbus Day will be fair for our paddle/picnic on the Bog River Flow. My sister is coming for the weekend. It's supposed to get quite cold by Monday.

Hi Roni, Happy Birthday to your DH, and it sounds like a nice day celebrating it at home with Moonie with a nappus and then out to dinner. I hope the rain holds off for the Fair. I notice Maggie's meds raise her bg, so I bet it is the same with Moonie. Glad she is doing so good with her Hyper-T meds and Adequan. Good luck with adding the drop, and I'm about to do the same with Mags. Have a wonderful time out tonight. Lots of hugs and scritches from us.

Came back & fell asleep till her +6 when I saw she was 107 so she may have dipped into green tonite--
I am off to NI Ni & want to wish everyone happy dreams, sound sleepus & well being--Healing vines for all who need them...Will be on when I can over the weekend~~~ And to all a good Ni Ni-Hugs & Love from us!
